Membership Agreement

This Membership Agreement explains the recurring membership that accompanies your FormsPal online-divorce purchase: what it costs, when billing starts, what it includes, and how to cancel. It supplements the Terms of Service.

1. The short version

• Your document package is a one-time charge at the plan price shown at checkout.
• A $39/month membership starts 30 days after purchase and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time, from your account or by contacting support, and no further renewals are charged.
• This is disclosed at checkout, and checking the consent box is your authorization for these recurring charges.

2. What membership includes

While your membership is active, your case stays live:

• access to your case dashboard, documents, and download of your packet
• unlimited edits and regeneration of your documents as your details change (per your plan's terms)
• step-by-step signing, notarization, and filing guidance, and case reminders
• the Post-Divorce Toolkit: a name-change document kit and, where available in your state, a vehicle-title document kit, available after your divorce is final
• customer support for the Service.

3. Billing

• First charge: 30 days after your purchase date.
• Then: $39 automatically each month on the same day (or the nearest prior day in shorter months) to the payment method on file, until you cancel.
• Failed payments: we may retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected we may pause membership benefits until resolved.
• Price changes: we will notify you in advance of any fee change. The new fee applies only to renewals after the notice period, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. How to cancel

• From your account: My profile → Support & Membership → "Cancel renewal".
• Or contact support: email support@formspal.com from your account email with the subject "Cancel membership".

Changed your mind

• Before the paid period ends: My profile → Support & Membership → "Resume membership". Billing simply carries on as before and you are not charged that day.
• After it has ended: the same page offers "Reactivate membership", which starts a new monthly membership at the current price, charged that day. It does not restore the old one, and there is no second free period.

Cancellation stops all future renewals immediately. Your membership benefits continue until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Refunds: within the first 30 days after your purchase, everything you've paid (the one-time price and any membership charges) is refundable, same day, no questions asked. After 30 days, your most recent monthly membership charge is refundable on request. Full details in the Money-Back Policy, which controls if anything here differs.

5. After cancellation

• You keep any documents you have already downloaded.
• For 90 days after your paid period ends, you can still sign in to view and download your already-generated documents. Editing and regenerating documents require an active membership.
• You can reactivate at any time by contacting support.

6. General

Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms of Service, which also governs liability, disputes, and everything not covered here. This agreement is presented before purchase and linked from the checkout consent. The consent record (text, time, IP) is retained as proof of authorization.
